Too much pose and pomp, in each gesture and attitude
All are so complicated, everything is so difficult
Nothing is easy in the cities and in the people's soul
And when I wake up, what will I find here?

Simplicity saying good-bye to me
Complexity growing, all the world living hopelessly
The simple city saying good-bye to me
Modernity arriving, until when good or bad it must be
